Mineral Oil

The Fluvia Mineral Oil division is a highly experienced and professional transporter of petroleum products, both clean and dirty. It consists of three areas of operation, Fluvia AG in Basel (Switzerland), Fluvia Tankrode GmbH, Hamburg (Germany) and Fluvia Oil Tankers, Rotterdam (Netherlands).

Through close cooperation between these three offices and simultaneous European combination of knowledge and experience, we develop our "Fluvia Oil Triangle". This provides us a "One Stop Oil Shop" function for all customers that seek for transportation of mineral oils across the westeuropean waterways.

From our Basel office we focus on the transportation of clean petroleum products, such as gasoil, gasoline, diesel and jet fuel over the river Rhine and it’s tributaries. We mainly service customers in Switzerland to provide a safe, secure and timely supply of products for the Swiss market. Our fleet currently consists of five owned barges, in size ranging from 2,500 to 3,000 dwt. These barges have an excellent reputation, both on the Rhine and beyond.

From our Hamburg office, Fluvia Tankrode, formerly known as Vopak Mineral Oil Barging GmbH, we focus on the transportation of clean as well as dirty petroleum products on the north german waterways. Furthermore we provide bunkeroperations, delivering marine diesel and heavy fuel oil to seagoing vessels, for our customers in the north german ports. Our fleet currently consists of three owned and eleven chartered barges, ranging in size between 700 and 2,000 dwt.

Our latest acquired operation, Fluvia Oil Tankers BV, Rotterdam, provides transportation of clean petroleum products mainly in the Netherlands. The fleet consists of 4 owned mineral oil tankers and 1 captain-owned.
